Calaveras Telephone is following the World Health Organization, Centers for Disease Control and Calaveras County Health Department recommendations to help prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) in our community.
We remain open for our customers but are making the following changes to how we are operating, to help limit exposure, for your safety as well as ours.
- Only one customer at a time will be allowed in the office, we ask you to wait on the porch or in your car - while we sanitize between customers.
- IF YOU ARE MAKING A PAYMENT - ALL payments by cash or check must be put through the drop box. If paying by cash, we are currently not giving change, so the entire amount will be applied to your bill. We will mail you a receipt.
If paying by credit card or check, you can go here to make a payment 24 hours/day, or call our office and we will make the payment over the phone at 209-785-2211 or toll free at 800-253-2211.
- All equipment can be returned through the secure equipment return box at 513 Main Street, Copperopolis. Please call us to make an appointment to return equipment to one of our other offices. Receipts will be mailed.
- Any paperwork or forms can be found on our website here, or can be faxed, emailed or mailed to you. If you choose to pick up forms at the office, we ask you take the forms home to complete. You can call our office if you have any questions or require help. You can return the forms by fax, email, mail or put them in the drop box. Our contact information is here.
We recognize the importance of keeping our customers and community connected during this critical time. We have temporarily suspended non-payment disconnections and late fees for our customers.
Calaveras Telephone regrets any inconvenience these changes may cause you, but recognizes that preventative measures like these and working together is the best way to protect everyone.
